I was already fifty when I took a fancy to textiles. After I had learnt plenty of patchwork and quilting techniques I lost interest because I wanted something else, modern, exciting, something that makes me and other think.

I became addicted to painting and dyeing fabrics.

I like to combine textiles with different materials, particularly paper. I love nature, and am particularly attracted to representing it in my works.
