Éva Lázár
I joined Modern Movement when the group celebrated its 10th birthday.
While having a full-time job as a speech therapist, I have been regularly creating fabric art for many years. The numerous possibilities that it offers provide me with another kind of pleasure, on which I would be happy to spend even more time.
In the past few years I have been increasingly drawn to contemporary fabric art, thanks to an important friendship, and the inspiring quilts by Hungarian and international artists.
I like working with hand-dyed fabrics, experimenting with different kinds of surface design, and interested in lettering and calligraphic quality text. Fine details are as important as the full view. I like quilting both by hand and machine.
