Ildikó Polyák
Having a humanities degree I teach culture at a business school, and do trainings to expatriate managers in Hungary. I have always done something with fibres and fabrics. After trying different genres, I ended up quilting in 1998. In the first five years I had no idea that art quilts existed, so I made traditional and loosely traditional bed quilts. Since then I am trying to compile quilts from hand-dyed and embellished fabrics. I like pure bright colours, exciting lines and shapes.
